First in the industry, the company changed the miso container from barrel to cardboard which gathered reputation from retailers.
1963
First in the industry, to respond to changes in the distribution environment at that time, the company developed the packaging machine for "pillow" shaped package of miso which obtained a patent.
1966
Completed expansion of the Second Factory in the headquarter.
1967
Changed company name to "Marukome Miso Co., Ltd."
Established Tokyo Marukome Miso Sales Co, Ltd.
Established Kansai Marukome Miso Sales Co., Ltd.

Opened the Tokyo Branch.

Completed production facilities for instant miso.

First in the industry, to respond to spread of household refrigerators, the company developed the packaging machine for standing pouch of miso which obtained a patent.
