Koji Amazake Apple Pie

[Preparation]
Preheat the oven until 220℃
Beat egg.
1.
Cut the apples into 6 equal parts, remove the core and peel.
2.
Put cut apple and Koji Amazake in a pot and boil with the lid for approx. 10 minutes.
3.
Remove the lid, add (a), set to high heat and shake the pot from time to time. When the juice is gone and the apples are colored, turn off the heat and let it cool.
4.
Extend two pie sheets to a thickness of about 3 mm and cut them into 4 squares to make 8 sheets. Make a notch in the center of each of the four pie sheets out of the eight.
5.
Place 4 uncut pie sheets on the top plate with a parchment paper, and place each 3 piece of [3] on it.
6.
Cover [5] with the four notched pie sheets, press the edge with the back of a fork, and apply the beaten egg to the surface.
7.
Bake in the oven preheated 220℃ for about 15 minutes. When the surface of the pie turns golden brown, it is baked.
